Ambigram Fonts
Why normal fonts are not ambigram fonts, and how typography styles relate to reversible letterform design.
A font provides base letter shapes. An ambigram font would need every glyph designed to function in multiple orientations — which standard typefaces do not do. Designers typically modify individual letterforms by hand or create custom typefaces for specific words.
